All tiles should be checked upon receipt. Once our delivery received or our delivery docket/carrier’s docket is signed, it will be deemed to confirm the receipt of correct goods in good condition. Incorrect delivery, short delivery or damaged tiles must be notified to us within 24 hours of the receipt of tiles.

Ensure that the tiles are correct and of one shade. It is the tiler’s responsibility to check for any visual defects before laying the tile! NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED ONCE THE TILES ARE LAID.

Stone & Beyond Australia will not be responsible for any delays in delivery which may result from any circumstances beyond its control. Any shipping dates provided by Stone & Beyond Australia are estimates only.

It is the responsibility of the architect, the builder, the tiler and the owner to ensure that the tiles selected are suitable for their intended application and are in compliance with any relevant Australian Standard.


Crazing and shade variation is an inherent characteristic of ceramic tiles. Stone & Beyond Australia accepts no responsibility in respect of any minor shade variation between samples shown to the buyer and actual tiles supplied. It is the buyer’s responsibility to purchase an adequate quantity to produce complete a job. Stone & Beyond Australia cannot guarantee to supply the tile in the same shade and caliber for your subsequent orders. If swapping is required because of an inadequate order (if offered), handling charges will be applied.

Natural Stone products are subject to variation and none of the tiles will look the same. Natural Stone tile is known for its unique and beautiful veining. Variation in movement and color is inherent in natural material and is not considered a flaw. You may choose to blend the veining at random or create a cohesive look. We strongly recommend doing a dry layout before installation to blend variations. Installers should do a dry layout and get it approved by the owner. A photo of the approved layout should then be taken so that they have a visual for installation. No claims will be accepted after the product is installed. Natural Stone & Cement Tiles Require Sealing Prior to Grouting. Please use correct adhesive with natural stone. Custom Orders require payment in Full.

5.1 The seller accepts no responsibility in respect to any minor variations between samples shown to the buyer and the actual supplied product. The buyer waives any claims against the seller for any such variation.

The dimensions of ceramic tiles are indicative only. All tiles will differ from batch to batch in size. All ceramic tiles are fired at extremely high temperatures and different production batches will produce small size variations which will differ from the descriptive size. All size variances are within acceptable standards.

The results of any anti-slip tests (water pendulum or oil ramp) are indicative only. These results will change slightly from batch to batch. It is a customer’s responsibility to have a test on the tile of a particular batch if an exact rating is required.

Quotations provided are exclusive of GST and remain valid for one (1) month from quotation date, unless otherwise stated. Quotations will apply only to products and quantities as quoted. Significant variations to quantities or different products will be treated as separate enquiries and must be re-quoted.

To avoid scratching the surface of the tile please do not remove the protective paper / foam between tiles before moving boxes to the tiling site. After removing the protective paper, leave tiles standing against a wall face to face. It is the installer’s responsibility if the tiles are scratched on site.

Consult Stone & Beyond Australia for technical support on products. All polished tiles were treated in the factory. Cleaning tiles is not Stone & Beyond Australia responsibility. We will not be responsible for any damage that occurred because of cleaning and other treatments completed by the installer or end user.

Stone & Beyond Australia will not accept any returns due to a change in the customer’s mind. No Returns on Natural Stone products. Please make sure you order the right tiles & quantities as we don’t take any responsibility for over supply or short supply. Faulty products should be discussed and returned within 48 hours from the day of receiving the goods unless another arrangement has been negotiated. Any mistakes occurred on Custom Orders Will be held responsible by the Architect, Designer or Client. Once Shipped from manufacturer there are Strictly no Returns on custom orders. All goods delivered to customers remain the property of Stone & Beyond Australia until the goods are paid for in full. Warranty is void if our product were installed by an unlicensed person such as a tiler, plumber or any other contractor.
